HOLLYWOOD AND THE HOLOCAUST

(2004; NR)
Tuesday May 5, Thursday May 7,
Saturday May 9 @ 7:30PM;
Sunday May 10 @ 1, 2:50PM.

Sometimes craven, sometimes heroic, Hollywood's checkered yet fascinating confrontation with Nazism and the Holocaust across sixty years of film history becomes grist for an astute and compulsively watchable documentary narrated by Gene Hackman.

"
Offers both a generalist survey of Hollywood's fun-house mirror reflection of history and a subtle diagnosis of America's not entirely healthy appetite for entertainment posing as fact" - New York Observer.

"A devastating, impressively reflective documentary" - New York Times.

Direction: Daniel Anker.

92 minutes.

TICKETS: $5.50 adults, $3.50 seniors and Clark students, faculty and staff (with ID)
